Reward miles or cash rewards are applied to your total net purchases. That means any purchase that's charged to your Capital One credit card minus refunds, returns, or other similar credits is eligible to earn reward miles or cash rewards in our rewards program. Transactions that aren't eligible for reward miles or cash rewards are cash advances, balance transfers, or other access cheque transactions (including but not limited to Purchase Cheques, Special Offer Cheques, or other similar cheques). Also, you won't accumulate reward miles or cash rewards for fees or finance charges.
Definitely. You don't have to pay the full amount of your bill each month to keep your account in good standing. Just make sure you pay at least the minimum monthly balance, as indicated on your statement, and you'll keep earning reward miles or cash rewards in our rewards program. If your account is not in good standing, meaning you didn't pay your minimum monthly balance, reward miles or cash rewards will continue to accumulate but the rewards program won't allow you to redeem any until your account is in good standing.
Your earned reward miles or cash rewards usually appear online within 10 days. Very rarely, it may take up to two billing cycles to appear on your account. Plus, if you received bonus reward miles or cash rewards on your first purchase, they may take a little longer than normal to appear on your statement.
Once you're a No Hassle Rewards cardholder, you can redeem online through Capital One Online Banking. If you don't have an Internet connection, call our Rewards Specialists at 1-877-680-4423.
Yes. By transferring reward miles to your card from other Capital One reward miles or cash rewards accounts, you can combine rewards with friends or family members in order to redeem sooner.
No, you'll never be charged a fee for transferring rewards from one Capital One rewards account to another Capital One rewards account.
You'll get rewards on your rewards membership anniversary each year. We'll apply your bonus rewards within two billing cycles following your rewards membership anniversary date.
You'll receive bonus anniversary reward miles every year you're a customer.
No. Your reward miles are yours for the life of the account – they won't expire. But if your account is closed, you'll lose any reward miles you haven't redeemed.
While we're currently unable to upgrade our customers to the Aspire TravelTM World MasterCard® or Aspire TravelTM Platinum MasterCard®, we're working on a solution. Please note that customers are free to apply for the Aspire Travel World MasterCard or Platinum MasterCard as a second card. Customers do need to wait 45 days before applying for the second card.
We also allow customers to transfer reward miles between Capital One reward miles accounts without any additional charges. So, current Miles or Miles Plus customers can apply for an Aspire Travel World MasterCard or Aspire Travel Platinum credit card, transfer their reward miles balance to their new card and then close their Miles/Miles Plus account.
No. The cash back rewards program is only for earning cash on all your purchases.
If you request a statement credit, you'll get it within five to seven business days. If you request a cheque you'll get it within 30 days.
