1 Potential savings in the "Is it worth it?" tool tip are based on a two-week, international vacation package for two 30 year olds, costing $2,500 and booked on your Aspire Travel World MasterCard. For all insurance coverage, certain limitations, restrictions and exclusions apply. For Travel Emergency Medical Insurance, the primary Cardholder, their spouse and their dependent children, when travelling with either parent, are covered for trips up to 22 days, if under 65 years of age, and for trips up to 8 days, if 65 years of age or older. The date of departure is counted as the first day. When you're approved for the card you'll receive Certificates of Insurance which contain a full description of coverage. Capital One is not the insurer.

2 Rewards are applied to total net purchases. That means any purchase that's charged to your Capital One credit card minus credits or returns. Cash advances, balance transfers and access cheque transactions aren't eligible for rewards.

3 Your first purchase bonus reward miles accumulate within two billing cycles after the first qualifying purchase is posted to your account. Your anniversary bonus reward miles accumulate every year within two billing cycles of your rewards membership anniversary date.

In addition, we have a number of checkpoints to ensure your identity stays safe during the application process. If we're unable to confirm your identity during the application process, you'll need to go into the Canada Post outlet and provide further identification.
