Your Approval For a Credit Card is Guaranteed if:

  • You don't have an existing Capital One credit card account
  • You haven't had a Capital One credit card account that was in bad standing at any time
  • You haven't applied for a Capital One credit card account within the last 45 business days
  • You live in and are the age of majority in AB, BC, MB, NB, NL, NS, ON, PE or SK


If you're approved for a Secured credit card you'll need to provide security funds by cheque or money order (but we'll let you know if this is needed). A Secured credit card receives
Standard MasterCard benefits.
