Fraud Protection

Our customer fraud protection promise.

We promise to do everything possible to protect your credit card from fraud:

Protect – We employ a suite of fraud protection tools to minimize the chance of fraud occurring on your credit card account.

Monitor – We watch over your credit card account, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Resolve – The truth is that fraud does happen, but if it should ever happen to you we'll work hard to help make it right. Remember, you're covered by our Zero Liability policy, which means that if your credit card is used without your authorization, you will not be liable for those charges.

Guard Your Credit Card Online With MasterCard® SecureCodeTM.

Your SecureCode is a private code that you set up – known only to you – which protects you against unauthorized use of your card when shopping at participating online merchants.

Once you've registered, every time you make online purchases at participating merchants you'll be automatically prompted to enter your own private SecureCode – just like entering a PIN at the ABM. Within seconds, your identity is confirmed and your transaction can then be processed.

Merchants using SecureCode display this window when you checkout.
