Our approach to environmental sustainability is anchored in our company values.
At Capital One, we recognize the need to monitor and be mindful of our impact on the environment. In fact, our approach to environmental sustainability is anchored in our company values, which include doing the right thing for our customers, our associates and our community.
Community Support for Environmental Sustainability
Capital One provides funding to Evergreen's Brickworks Project for a classroom to teach children about the environment and we also contribute to the children's playground area. We provide funding for the Learning Grounds program, which greens the playground of two schools every year. Capital One associates also get hands-on experience with environmental sustainability during Evergreen's annual tree planting initiative.Learn More About the Evergreen
Capital One held a friendly competition between divisions to raise awareness and encourage participation in Earth Hour. We also promoted Earth Hour on our Web site, our online banking site and with our business partners.
