Capital One Cup 

Capital One® Cup

The Capital One Cup is a points-based competition that awards each curling team a point value based on their performance during each Capital One Grand Slam of Curling event. At the end of the curling season, a purse totalling $170,000 (CDN) is awarded to the top three men's and women's teams based on their results during the 2009-2010 Capital One Grand Slam of Curling events. Congratulations to Team Bernard and Team Martin, winners of the 2009-2010 Capital One Cup.

Capital One Million Dollar Button Contest 

The Million Dollar Button Contest

In 2008, we introduced the Capital One Million Dollar Button contest, which we're sure had every curling fan (including us!) on the edge of their seats. Ron Trottier, our first ever finalist, walked away with $10,000. Congratulations to our second winner, the 2010 Capital One Million Dollar Button finalist, Alma Laidlaw, who walked away with $1,000.

The Canadian Curling Association (CCA) is the sole governing body responsible for curling in Canada and oversees eight national curling championship events every year including the Tim Hortons Brier and Scotties Tournament of Hearts.
